Iris Christenson Recognized as Diversity and Inclusion Trailblazer
The State Bar of Wisconsin recognizes Iris Christenson with its Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazer Award for 2024. The award honors Iris for her contributions to diversity and inclusion in the Wisconsin legal community: “In numerous ways throughout her career, Christenson has modeled an inclusive practice and promoted diversity and inclusion among her peers and the State Bar of Wisconsin.”
After practicing law for over 30 years, Iris continues to be active in State Bar diversity efforts and volunteers with various community programs. Commenting on the award, Iris notes the importance of ongoing efforts for inclusion and equity, “I plan to continue DEI work as long as I can speak up for underrepresented people.”
