Wings for All® is Coming to the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN)
Wings for All® (sometimes known as Wings for Autism®) is an airport rehearsal program for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. It is designed to help alleviate the stress that families who have a child with intellectual/developmental disabilities experience when flying. The event, sponsored by The Arc Dane County and The Arcs of Green and Richland Counties, is coming to Madison and will take place at the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) on October 20, 2018. These organizations have teamed up with Delta Air Lines and TSA and are excited to offer this opportunity to participants in our area.
Participants, who each may bring one family member or companion, should arrive at the airport by 11:30 a.m. to allow ample time to check in and pass through security. Participants will board the aircraft at 12:55 p.m. and a small reception will follow after participants deboard the aircraft.
If your family would like to attend the event, please register online. All participants and their companion will receive a t-shirt with the MSN Wings for All® logo on the front. Participants who sign up by October 3 are guaranteed to receive the correct t-shirt size. Registration will be open until all spots are filled or until October 10, whichever is earlier. Attorney Barbara Hughes, Vice President of The Arc Dane County and chair of this event, hopes to see you there.
