Team Christenson Johnson Goes the Distance in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
“Team Christenson Johnson Goes the Distance” is the team of legal professionals, family, and friends led by team captain Iris Christenson in the 2018 annual Madison Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk, on October 7 (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) at Madison Memorial High School, raises awareness and funds to advance the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Join our efforts and those of all Walk participants by walking with us or making a contribution. See our team page for more details about how you can get involved.
Iris Christenson is dedicating her efforts this year to her mother, Mary, since she had Alzheimer’s and passed away in August at the age of 90. Participating in the Walk will be a meaningful way for our Walk team to honor her memory. Finding a cure for Alzheimer’s is so important to the families we serve because we know first-hand how devastating the illness is when it robs a person of memories, the ability to live independently, and hastens the end of life. In addition to being a Walk team captain, Iris also serves on the board of directors for the South Central Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Christenson Johnson, LLC is dedicated to working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and their family members in the areas of elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning. We do all we can to lessen the stress and worry that confronts a family dealing with dementia. Together, we can develop a plan for safe living arrangements, financial decision-making, and supportive care.
Walking to end Alzheimer’s brings together awareness and support for Alzheimer’s programs and research–we hope you can join us!
