Taking the next step for your health care advance directives
Attorney Mark Johnson will speak on the topic of advance directives to a virtual audience on March 19. The presentation is part of a Fitchburg Senior Center series “Be Healthy! Be Happy!” organized by a student of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Attorney Johnson will cover common advance directives for Wisconsin residents—health care powers of attorney, living wills, and do-not-resuscitate orders—plus, several other considerations for an individual’s medical and personal wishes, such as organ donation and patient visitation. More information is in the Fitchburg Senior Center monthly newsletter. To register, call (608) 270-4290.
The guide, Making Your Wishes Known, is available free. To learn more and prepare your own advance directives, along with other estate planning documents, contact the attorneys of Johnson Teigen, LLC.
